Privacy policy

This site collects very little. There are no cookies, no advertising trackers, and no contact forms. If we hold personal information about you, it is almost certainly because you emailed us.

Who we are

Cambit Ltd is the data controller for this website. We are registered in England & Wales, company no. 16263596, with our registered office at 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE. For anything in this policy, contact enquiries@cambit.co.

What we collect and why

Email correspondence. When you email us, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you choose to include. We use it to reply and to follow up on your enquiry, on the legal basis of our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence you started.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless service. It gives us aggregate numbers (page views, referrers, performance) without cookies, fingerprinting, or tracking you across sites. It cannot identify you individually.

Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which transiently processes standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

Cookies

This site sets none. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information or add you to marketing lists. Correspondence is shared only with the service providers we use to run email and hosting, kept for as long as it is relevant to your enquiry or an ongoing relationship, and then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal information, and you can object to or restrict our use of it. Email enquiries@cambit.co and we will respond. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If what the site does changes (a contact form, for instance), this policy will change with it, with the date above updated.
